Our ENGINEERED Eucalyptus KS is produced with glue and pressure. Therefore, it is more stable than a solid piece of wood and less prone to movement, which happens due to the changes in temperature and moisture during the kiln drying cycles. Our kiln sticks, during production, reach temperatures much higher than in any kiln drying process.

Eucalyptus ENGINEERED is more stable than pine LVL. It resists warping and splitting, even under extreme temperature and humidity changes, and it always maintains its shape (straightness) and strength, unlike other common kiln sticks.

Our 3/4” product consists of 7 plies, while our 7/8 product is of 8 plies. All materials are TSCA compliant, ensuring that they meet industry standards for durability and sustainability.

Quality note: Most species can have knots, holes, and cracks. If a solid kiln stick with a knot, crack, or warp is used in the kiln or stacker, it will become weaker during the process lowering its durability and therefore increasing the final cost of the sticks.

One of the significant benefits of using ENGINEERED Eucalyptus is that it is free from knots, holes, and cracks that can weaken the wood. Instead, any defects are confined to each layer of the final product, ensuring that the piece maintains its strength and stability. Also, the knots/holes/cracks that exist in the wood are restricted to each layer of the final product. The other layers will not have such a defect, and if they do, it’s not in the same position. That is why the piece continues to have extremely high resistance. When pressing, the veneers tend to fuse, much more than when producing plywood, due to the layers' construction direction of the veneers.

When it comes to weight, our product is heavier than oak and pine, with a weight of 780 kg/m3 on the finished product.
